Learning with Light competition entry

Rüdiger’s entry to the competition is called "Glowing in the Dark - Darkening in the Glow ". Describing his entry Rüdiger says:

This problem based IBSE learning approach introduces the detection of an invisible form of radiation in our environment and leads to a deeper understanding of the interaction of light and matter – absorption and emission, which is prerequisite for the understanding of the processes in a laser. In addition we see an entirely unexpected and surprising behavior of a phosphorescence screen when it is illuminated with LEDs.

Rüdiger used the following resources in his entry: http://portal.discoverTheCosmos.eu/node/195552 and for interactive simulations he used the online virtual lab: PhET Interactive Simulations https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulation/lasers
