First workshop in Croatia for ISE schools
Multimedia in the classroom was the focus of the workshop Moovly – creating animated video held by teacher Mrs Vesna Janko on 18th April 2014. The workshop was organized by The Croatian Academic and Research Network – CARNet for the Croatian participants of the Inspiring Science Education (ISE) project and it took place in the XV Grammar School in Zagreb, Croatia.
Teachers were trained through practical work how to use Moovly – an online tool for the creation of videos, presentations, tutorials, info graphics, clips etc. Additionally, teachers learned how to implement this tool in their classroom to increase motivation of students as well as their understanding of the learning content. More than 20 teachers that are involved in the ISE project participated in this workshop, and they will implement ICT in their classroom.
This is only the first workshop for the ISE Croatian teachers focused on using technology in the classroom. More workshops on related topics will be held in May 2014 in Croatia.
