Science on Stage Festival 2015

Wednesday, 17 June, 2015 to Saturday, 20 June, 2015

From 17-20 June 2015, 350 primary and secondary school teachers from all over Europe and Canada will be buzzing around over four days in London.

Under the motto “Illuminating Science Education” teachers will enthuse each other and share experiments and teaching ideas for science, technology and mathematics education at stands, in workshop and on stage.

The participating science teachers will be selected in 2014 through competitive national events in 25 countries. National Steering Committees (NSCs) are responsible for the calls for proposals. A number of finalists will take part and will demonstrate their excellent entries in the Learning with Light Competition 2015 in an ISE dedicated area of the Science on stage exhibition.

The projects will be structured in the following guiding themes.

- Science and Our Sustainable World
Projects which use science to explore environmental and global issues.
- Inclusive Science
Projects which enable the active participation of students from every background.
- Innovation in Science Education
Projects which use new technologies and techniques in the classroom.
- Creativity in Science Education

- Science and its Applications
Projects which build strong links to industry and applied science.
- Cooperation between countries
