Launch of a new Science Learning Partnership

Tuesday, 1 July, 2014

A new Science Learning Partnership is being launched in Stevenage. Working with a number of local schools, this will support raising standards in the delivery of science across the region through a high quality CPD programme.  The intention is that Continous Professional Development will be delivered by local trained facilitators from schools in the area, building high quality networks that are shaped by the needs of schools, teachers and technicians.

Dr Chris North will help launch the partnership with a keynote speech on "Space in the Classroom". Dr North is based at Cardiff University's School of Physics and Astronomy, and is the UK national coordinator for the Inspiring Science Education project.  For a list of national coordinators visit our project page.
