2nd Education Conference “Motivate and Attract Students to Science”
UNEP/GRID-Warsaw Centre and the MASS project partners are pleased to invite the science teaching community to participate in the 2nd Education Conference “Motivate and Attract Students to Science”, taking place in Warsaw (Poland) on 25-27th November 2015. The Conference is organized in collaboration with the GLOBE Program Regional Coordination Office Europe and Eurasia.
The agenda will mainly include workshops, instead of plenary sessions. It will make the Conference a practical training. More information can be found on http://www.mass4education.eu
Main goal of the project is to identify and disseminate best practices of attractive and effective tools and methods of teaching science at the classroom level, with the focus on sustainability. Ready to use classroom materials are developed in the project, including tutorials, hands-on lessons and teacher training materials.
The project focuses on three major challenges that stimulate the progress in teaching science attractively and effectively: science through digital learning; early inquiry; low Achievers in science
Registration and Participation fee
The online registration started in the end of August 2015.
Conference fee (120 EUR) includes: open access to all sessions, conference materials, coffee breaks and lunches, social dinner on Wednesday evening as well as science workshop (organized together with the Copernicus Science Centre).
